Ji Yin also remembered from her memories that in this world, spiritual cultivators were exceedingly rare, and none had ever broken through the ninth level of the spiritual realm, let alone reached the Grand Ascension Stage.

On Liusha Star, these were the basics every child was required to master! If you hadn’t attained the Grand Ascension Stage and awakened your spiritual veins by the age of fifteen, it was as embarrassing as wetting the bed—people would laugh themselves to death!

Fine, this was a place of exile; there was no comparison to be made.

Ji Yin had six elder brothers, each more brilliant and gifted than the last. All of them were exceptionally rare spiritual cultivators—not only versed in both literature and martial arts, skilled in poetry, song, and dance, but also strikingly handsome. Yet when it came to Ji Yin, aside from her good looks, she seemed to have no other merits.

Everyone said that Lady Ji must have used up all her good fortune bearing the first six children, leaving Ji Yin a hopeless good-for-nothing.

A good-for-nothing? Ji Yin’s lips curled into a wicked smile as she focused her mind.

The last rays of the setting sun bathed the land in resplendent light, illuminating the young girl’s face. Judging by her shadow cast on the earth, her delicate nose was straight and prominent, her chin slightly pointed, exuding an elegant beauty.

Suddenly, a violet light radiated from her body.

“Little Demon!”

“Great Demon!” a childish voice responded enthusiastically, “What happened? You’re not dead?”

“I’m not entirely sure what happened either. All I know is, I’m alive again.”

“Great Demon, why do you look like this? Other than your aura, everything else seems so unfamiliar.”

Ji Yin frowned. Her body had long since been consumed by the Divine Fire of the Nine Heavens, her form and spirit annihilated; to be alive now was already a miracle. Fortunately, the Magic Cauldron was still with her.

“Great Demon, haven’t you noticed how thin the spiritual energy is around here? And it’s so filthy, nothing like Liushi Star. And what happened to your body? The tainted energy has corroded you terribly. Let me help drive it out!”

“All right.” Ji Yin replied softly, adjusting her breathing.

All the impurity within her was drawn out and absorbed by the Magic Cauldron, instantly making her feel refreshed and invigorated.

“Can you purify the spiritual energy now?” Ji Yin asked gently.

“I’ll give it a try.”

The Magic Cauldron slowly floated out from Ji Yin’s body, hovering in midair.

It was a four-legged cauldron emitting a violet-gold glow, currently the size of a small pendant. Suddenly, it began to expand, inhaling streams of gas. Before long, a surge of pure spiritual energy poured from the cauldron.

“Boss, I feel so weak. Even swallowing this little bit of impure energy nearly burst me apart.”

Ji Yin raised her hand, guiding the purified energy into her body. She could feel the immense difference in the Magic Cauldron’s power compared to before.

“This is the land of exile. It probably isn’t recorded anywhere on Liusha Star. As for us, it’s as though we’ve been reforged from scratch.”

The Magic Cauldron: Damn it!

While the cauldron’s mind was filled with countless curses, Ji Yin remained perfectly calm.

Above the Soul-Devouring Cauldron hovered a mass of energy shaped like a human figure. It was likely an ordinary person’s soul, caught up when the cauldron began absorbing spiritual energy.

Ji Yin beckoned, and the soul drifted before her.

On Liushi Star, even if one’s physical body perished, with such a strong will, the soul could still cultivate and enter the path of demons. Unfortunately, the spiritual energy here was so polluted that it lacked the necessary conditions.

Suddenly, the Magic Cauldron emitted a beam of violet-gold light, drawing the soul into its depths.

“So weak! There’s barely any soul power at all.”

“If you have something to eat, don’t complain.”

The Magic Cauldron was Ji Yin’s innate soul artifact, possessing the power to devour all things. It loved nothing more than consuming souls and absorbing their power to aid Ji Yin’s cultivation.
