But Ji Yun only saw Ji Yin gently place her hand on a stone block, and the stone door opened.
Everyone looked at Ji Yin in disbelief.
Ji Yin: …
She really just wanted to try it out.
Chu Yu felt even more unsettled. That useless girl could actually open this stone door? Had he not noticed just now if there was some mechanism in that protruding stone?
Facing everyone’s gazes, Ji Yin calmly clapped her hands and walked to the stone door. “What are you all standing around for? Let’s go in!”
Only then did everyone snap back to their senses and gather in front of the doorway.
Ji Yin noticed the space beyond the stone door was even more vast. Straight ahead was a platform that looked like an altar used for rituals. In the center was a seat, beside which stood a flag bearing the same symbols as those on the outer walls.
No one knew how many years it had been sealed, yet the flag remained as vibrant as new. Because the door was open, the flag fluttered gently, creating an eerie sensation that was hard to describe.
On the altar was a dark, pitch-black sacrificial table emitting a faint glow, made of some unknown material. It was also covered with inscrutable patterns.
Ji Yin jumped onto the altar and found that all the patterns were filled with a bright red substance, accompanied by the metallic scent of blood.
Looking down, the intricate patterns beneath her feet were similarly filled with this red substance.
Was this a blood sacrifice?

Rumors said the blood sacrifice used the heart’s blood of the victims.
“Xiao Qi, get down!” Ji Yun immediately shouted, reaching out to pull Ji Yin down.
Besides the altar, there were other things around.
Behind the altar was a path leading forward, but ahead was pitch black, revealing nothing.
Everyone noticed rows of lamp posts on both sides of the path. Inside the lamp posts was some lamp oil.
“Light the lamps!” Ji Yun ordered.
Several people immediately lifted torches and lit the lamps. The surroundings brightened instantly, revealing clearer details.
About five hundred meters behind the altar was a bottomless chasm, with a suspension bridge made of chains leading in another direction.
The group approached and stood before the bridge.
Ji Yin noticed the chains holding the bridge were as thick as a human arm and stretched directly beneath the altar.
Suddenly, a noise came from behind. Everyone turned around at once. The stone door had closed without them noticing—the sound was the collision of the two stone doors shutting!
“Damn! The stone door is closed!”
Several people rushed over, desperately trying to pry the door open.

“No use struggling. Since we’re here, let’s just go inside. It’s not like this trip was for nothing.” Ji Yin’s voice suddenly rang out as she looked ahead at the suspension bridge, her eyes gleaming with excitement.
This was the kind of place she loved most. Otherwise, how would she have come across so many rare treasures during the Flowing Slash Star incident?
Although this place didn’t exactly look like it held any precious treasures.
“Everyone be careful, don’t get separated.” Ji Yun instructed the group.
“Yes!”
Just as Ji Yin was about to move forward, she was suddenly grabbed and pulled back by Ji Yun. “You go with Mr. Mo!”
Mo Chuan was the weakest here, and Ji Yin was probably the second weakest.
Ji Yin put her arm around Mo Chuan’s shoulders. “Don’t be afraid, Mr. Mo, I’ll protect you.”
A burst of laughter immediately echoed nearby.
