Chapter 128: The Cross-Dressing Master 1
Suddenly, a crashing sound erupted from ahead; the suspension bridges had all collapsed.
Following that, the sheer cliffs began to crumble, and the ground beneath their feet shook violently. A plume of thick smoke rose from the bottom of the abyss, carrying a pungent, foul odor. It must have been the fumes released by those objects falling into the magma below.
"The place is collapsing! We must leave at once!" Ji Yun shouted.
Ji Yin looked up toward Xuan Yuanji and saw him suddenly raise his hand and strike the altar. The entire structure crumbled with a thunderous roar, revealing a small, square box that emerged from the ground.
Seeing this, Chu Yu and Du Wei were momentarily stunned. They exchanged a glance and struck simultaneously. A fierce gust of wind surged as a figure darted toward the altar at lightning speed.
Ji Yin watched their reaction, thinking, "How shameless can they be? Resorting to blatant robbery? Who gave them the courage to snatch something right in front of Xuan Yuanji?"
As expected, Xuan Yuanji showed no mercy. A powerful force struck Chu Yu and Du Wei, sending them flying uncontrollably backward. They collapsed to the ground, coughing up blood.
Xuan Yuanji raised his hand, and the box fell into his grasp. It was sealed, but the seal posed no challenge to him. With a light tap, he broke it and opened the box. An immediate fragrance wafted out—a feminine, yet incredibly pleasant scent.
Inside the small box lay a garment as thin as gossamer. Ji Yin picked it up; a sensation of chill emanated from her fingertips. She had never seen such material before, but it was certainly no ordinary clothing.
Suddenly, Ji Yin felt something obstruct her vision, followed by a strange sensation over her body, as if her bones were being fitted into a mold, calibrated inch by inch.
"The Phoenix Dance Glazed Fairy Dress," Xuan Yuanji said softly.
The garment, thin as a cicada's wing, only fully revealed its form once it settled onto Ji Yin. It was breathtakingly beautiful and peerlessly magnificent.
"This is actually an exquisite suit of armor!" Ji Yin realized, raising her wrist to examine the sheer sleeve covering her arm. This armor was even more powerful than the Crimson Cloud Shirt she had crafted herself on Liusha Star.
However, it was far too feminine. Ji Yin was currently disguised as a man; wearing this dress was indescribably awkward. Fortunately, her appearance was striking enough to carry it off—at first glance, it actually looked quite beautiful.
"Release!" Ji Yin hurriedly commanded. How could she possibly wear this dress? Wouldn't that expose her true identity? She checked again, but the garment did not vanish, nor did she revert to her own clothes.
"Xuan Yuanji! How do I take this off? Do you know this armor?"
"It is written right here," Xuan Yuanji said, handing her the box.
Indeed, it was inscribed there: *Phoenix Dance Glazed Fairy Dress*.
Ji Yin was speechless. "I am a man! A man!" she couldn't help but roar.
"It doesn't matter; you don't look ugly in it," Xuan Yuanji replied with a smile.
Chu Yu and Du Wei glanced over, realizing the box contained only armor, not the Seal of Mountains and Rivers. They struggled to their feet.
The surroundings suddenly shook violently, and massive boulders began to fall.
"Let's go!" Xuan Yuanji grabbed Ji Yin’s hand and leaped toward the exit. Du Wei, not daring to delay, quickly fled with Chu Yu.
By the time they escaped, half of the cliff had collapsed, sending billowing smoke high into the air. Everyone stared at Ji Yin, who was still wearing the dress, completely stunned.
