Although he thought this way, Chu Fei still quite enjoyed it. Through Shen Miaoyu’s shirt, he gently massaged her. Shen Miaoyu noticed Chu Fei’s little movements. She held his hand but didn’t stop him, as if giving him a small taste of sweetness.

Five minutes later, after their verbal sparring, both were breathless as they separated. Seeing Shen Miaoyu’s shy demeanor, Chu Fei became playful.

“Miss, what are you doing? Bullying an honest man?”

Because of what had just happened, Shen Miaoyu remembered last night’s dream. Her beautiful eyes were tinged with an indescribable desire.

“Wasn’t it you who mentioned a verbal thank you?” she replied.

“Did the PE teacher teach you Chinese? Is that how you understand reading comprehension?”

“That’s what I learned from you,” Shen Miaoyu retorted, raising her brows with a hint of pride. “What, you don’t like it?”

Chu Fei didn’t answer, pretending to be clueless.

“If you didn’t like it, you should’ve said so!”

“You were covering my mouth, how could I say anything?”

“Then why did you respond?”

“I was just blocking your mouth with mine, that’s hardly a response—it’s self-defense at most!”

Unable to outwit Chu Fei, Shen Miaoyu could only raise her middle finger at him. Such provocation was unbearable. Before Shen Miaoyu could lose her temper, she felt her blood rushing, and her face flushed again. Unable to help herself, she loosened a few buttons. It wasn’t to seduce Chu Fei, but to let the cool air in and clear her head.

“Why is your face so red? Are you thinking about going all the way?”

Chu Fei deliberately fanned the flames, determined to push the seduction to its limit.

Shen Miaoyu held her ground. “No.”

“You’re just saying that out of anger. I don’t believe you,” Chu Fei replied.

Shen Miaoyu’s eye twitched, and she offered a sincere suggestion. “You should consider giving up lust, or your brain will suffer for it!”

“No, you’re wrong,” Chu Fei replied seriously. “When someone tries to give up lust, that’s when the brain starts to deteriorate.”

“I swear to heaven, I’ll never share a roof with gambling or drugs!”

“You deliberately skip the ‘yellow’ word, don’t you?”

“I, Huang, swear to heaven—”

“Huang? You’re Chu, not Huang!”

“I, Chu, swear to heaven, I’ll never share a roof with gambling or drugs!”

“What about the ‘yellow’?”

“Huang... Huang... By heaven above and earth below, I, Chu, swear—”

“!!!”

Shen Miaoyu finally complained helplessly, “A dog might not be human, but you’re truly a dog!”

“If I’m a dog, then you’re a little female—”

“Shut up!”

After their back-and-forth, the two returned to the villa. Along the way, Chu Fei suggested getting a room outside, but Shen Miaoyu skillfully changed the subject. Chu Fei wasn’t in a hurry; after all, there would be plenty of time, and he preferred being pursued anyway.

Once inside the villa, they discovered Meng Ziyi, who had just returned from a business trip. Today, she wore a high-end tailored suit. The white blazer was open, revealing a deep V-neck bustier, with a neckline bottomless. Her low-waisted trousers perfectly showcased her slender waist. Her long hair was slicked back, exposing a jade-like forehead and exquisite makeup; her gaze held a hint of allure, her lips sensuous. The elf earrings were the finishing touch. She was both seductive and commanding, embodying her persona as a powerful CEO—sexy, charismatic, and formidable.

Chu Fei was nearly dazzled.

He was about to rush in and use some cleanser, when Meng Ziyi, anticipating his move, reminded him, “Mind your image, little junior—there are guests!”

With Meng Ziyi’s reminder, Chu Fei noticed that besides Zhou Mi playing on her phone, there was a stern-looking elderly man, a middle-aged man, and a youthful, beautiful girl in the living room. Their features were similar—clearly a family.

“Let me introduce you. This is Elder Qi—Qi Wenshan. He contributed greatly to suppressing the Xiang family,” Meng Ziyi said, then introduced the other two.

“This is Qi Yushu, Elder Qi’s youngest son, and the hall master of the Martial Alliance’s branch in Cloud City.”

“And this young lady is Elder Qi’s granddaughter, her name is—”

Before Meng Ziyi could finish, the proud girl interrupted, “I’m Qi Xueqing. You’re the miracle doctor Sister Meng mentioned? You look far too young—hardly like someone with real ability!”

The Qi family of Sun City.

Chu Fei wasn’t sure how powerful they were, but Shen Miaoyu knew well: they were the largest family in Cloud City, leaders in military, business, and martial circles. To put it bluntly, anything the Qi family set their sights on in Sun City would eventually belong to them. Even if a steel coin fell from the sky, it would bear the Qi name!

Chu Fei, however, cared nothing for their reputation. Judging by their faces, he guessed they were here about a medical issue. So, faced with Qi Xueqing’s hostility, Chu Fei retorted bluntly, “Why so aggressive? Are you not going to live past tomorrow?”

Qi Xueqing, spoiled since childhood, had never been spoken to like this—especially not by a peer. She immediately stood up, hands on hips, and protested, “How dare you speak to this princess that way? Are you tired of living, you useless loser!”

“You’re sick,” Chu Fei pointed at Qi Xueqing. “Someone take her to Disneyland for treatment.”

“You’re sick! And what illness requires a trip to Disneyland?” Qi Xueqing shot back.

Chu Fei replied calmly, “Princess syndrome.”

“You...!”

Qi Xueqing hadn’t expected such sharp words and was momentarily at a loss for a comeback. It was Elder Qi, Qi Wenshan, who spoke, “Xueqing, keep quiet. Since Ziyi recommended him, he must have some real skill.”

“Father, you can’t blame Xueqing,” Qi Yushu said, sizing up Chu Fei with a dismissive tone. “He’s so young, and seems unreliable. It’s hard to believe he’s a skilled doctor.”

“Whether he’s a fraud or not, we’ll soon see,” Meng Ziyi mediated. “I wouldn’t set up Elder Qi, would I? If you don’t trust him, at least trust me.”

With Meng Ziyi’s assurance, Qi Xueqing and Qi Yushu could only hold their tongues, though their eyes still brimmed with distrust as they looked at Chu Fei.

Qi Wenshan, though skeptical of Chu Fei’s medical skills, decided to give him a chance for Meng Ziyi’s sake. Perhaps due to his habitual superiority, his tone was lofty.

“If Ziyi trusts you so much, I’ll give you a chance. Tell me what illness I have.”
