Chapter 10: You Came at Just the Right Time
Chu Fei stood in front of Meng Ziyi’s hair.
Because of how Meng Ziyi was squatting, the posture was simply too provocative.
In such circumstances, any normal man would find it hard to keep his composure, let alone Chu Fei, an incorrigible flirt!
He found himself anticipating Meng Ziyi’s next actions and expressions.
He just hoped his third senior sister wouldn’t be frightened by him.
However—
Meng Ziyi only looked up at Chu Fei with a face full of disappointment.
Chu Fei was instantly confused, wondering what on earth was going on!
“What’s wrong with you?”
Chu Fei felt his sense of self wavering, “I can be considered an adult, right? More or less?”
Meng Ziyi stood up and sat back on the sofa.
Her expression grew even more despondent.
“Don’t be like that, Third Senior Sister, don’t mess with my mind!”
Chu Fei pulled up his trousers and shouted toward Meng Ziyi, “Hurry up and say you’re joking, or I’ll kill myself!”
Meng Ziyi sighed, “The Dragon Guard Mark is really gone.”
“It can’t be that bad… ah… you mean the Dragon Guard Mark?”
Chu Fei finally understood and let out a sigh of relief.
He was the only man on Longming Mountain.
To prevent him from misbehaving, his beautiful master had planted the Dragon Guard Mark by his thigh since he was a child.
She had warned him that if it disappeared before he descended the mountain, she would cut it off and use it for fishing!
Just now, Meng Ziyi had taken off his trousers to check if the Dragon Guard Mark was still there.
After all, it was her last hope.
But the mark was gone, which meant he had truly lost his virginity to Shen Miaoyu.
No wonder she was so disappointed!
“You nearly scared me to death, you know?”
Chu Fei’s heart was still pounding. “Why didn’t you say it was the Dragon Guard Mark? Your eyes were so ambiguous, I totally misunderstood!”
Meng Ziyi’s emotions rose and fell quickly.
Now she teased, “Otherwise, what did you think I was talking about—the little earthworm?”
“Senior Sister, you’re bullying me~”
Chu Fei pretended to be bashful and draped himself over Meng Ziyi.
Meng Ziyi’s cheeks flushed, her gaze growing hazy.
That coquettish, half-reluctant look was simply irresistible!
“Enough fooling around, let’s talk business first!”
Chu Fei toyed with Meng Ziyi’s toes, tilting his head up, “Is it about changing my fate?”
Meng Ziyi struggled symbolically.
Seeing she couldn’t escape, she let Chu Fei be as mischievous as he liked.
She picked up seven sheepskin scrolls she’d prepared earlier and tossed them to Chu Fei. “These are your methods for altering fate.”
Chu Fei glanced through them quickly and was surprised. “If I’m not mistaken, these are all marriage contracts, and seven of them at that. Isn’t that a bit much? What does this have to do with changing my fate?”
“You know you carry the true dragon bloodline and are destined not to live past twenty-five,” Meng Ziyi explained. “The only thing that can suppress the true dragon bloodline is the true phoenix bloodline. Only by joining with such a woman can you possibly change your fate.”
“So these are the fiancées Master picked out for you!”
Mentioning this, Meng Ziyi couldn’t hide her reluctance.
After all, as the saying goes, “Don’t let the fat water flow into outsiders’ fields.” The five sisters had long seen Chu Fei as their exclusive treasure, unwilling to share him with anyone else.
But this was the only way for him to escape his fate.
Meng Ziyi could only hand over all the marriage contracts to Chu Fei.
Chu Fei asked, “Which of them has the true phoenix bloodline?”
“No idea,” Meng Ziyi shook her head.
“So… I have to try them one by one?”
“You seem pretty excited about that.”
Chu Fei immediately protested, “No way! I swear, Third Senior Sister is the one I love most. I don’t want any of these fiancées, I only want you!”
“What if I’m not the one you love most?” Meng Ziyi hit him with a soul-searching question.
“Then I’ll just keep swearing it!”
Meng Ziyi rolled her eyes. “Get out~”
Chu Fei chuckled, then, growing unusually serious, asked, “Besides changing my fate, did Master tell you anything about my origins?”
“She did. Everything’s in this black box.” Meng Ziyi produced a uniquely shaped black box and handed it to Chu Fei.
The box was adorned with a dragon pattern—this dragon bore seven eyes, emanating both majesty and strangeness.
This wasn’t Chu Fei’s first time seeing the box; as a child, he’d dreamed of it repeatedly.
But every time he tried to open it in his dreams, he’d wake up before succeeding.
After he told his beautiful master about it, he never dreamed of the box again.
Or more accurately, he stopped dreaming altogether.
So when he saw the box now, Chu Fei was astonished—it really existed.
But why hadn’t his master told him about it back then?
Chu Fei took the box and immediately tried to open it, but even with his current unrivaled strength, he couldn’t budge it.
“Why won’t it open?” Chu Fei frowned at Meng Ziyi.
Meng Ziyi shrugged. “I don’t know either. Master only said to give it to you and that inside it lies not only your origins, but also a secret of immense importance!”
Hearing this, Chu Fei’s curiosity grew.
But since it wouldn’t open now, there was no point fussing over it.
If you can’t figure something out, just set it aside—you might’ve forgotten about it by tomorrow anyway!
After putting the black box away, Chu Fei leaned in, “Third Senior Sister, now that we’ve finished talking business, isn’t it time for some personal matters?”
“Man, what do you want to do?”
Meng Ziyi stretched lazily—her figure was flawless, and paired with her office attire, it was sheer temptation.
“Of course, I want you!”
Chu Fei, bold and reckless, let his beastly nature show and pinned Meng Ziyi to the sofa.
Meng Ziyi’s eyes overflowed with tenderness.
Feigning difficulty, she murmured, “Shen Miaoyu is just downstairs. Do you dare?”
“Why wouldn’t I? Doesn’t that make it even more exciting?”
As Chu Fei made a move, Meng Ziyi was startled.
She gasped softly, nearly pleading.
“Man, you’d better not move…”
That one phrase—
Was like heavenly music.
It pushed Chu Fei’s self-control to the brink.
Just as he was about to lose himself, a furious knocking sounded at the door!
“Looks like someone outside can’t take it anymore than I can.”
Meng Ziyi chuckled knowingly; she had clearly realized Shen Miaoyu was eavesdropping.
Chu Fei had half a mind to ignore the interruption.
But Meng Ziyi tidied her clothes and took the initiative to open the door.
Shen Miaoyu swept a cold gaze over the two of them. “Seems I came at the wrong time!”
“No, you’re just in time,” Chu Fei said as he slipped an arm around Meng Ziyi’s slender waist and reached out a hand to Shen Miaoyu.
—Damn, what a scoundrel!
Shen Miaoyu cursed silently, slapped away Chu Fei’s hand, and said, “Come out, I have something to say to you!”
“Does it have to be right now?” Chu Fei was reluctant.
Shen Miaoyu simply grabbed him and dragged him out of the room.
Before leaving, Chu Fei called back to Meng Ziyi, “Third Senior Sister, don’t forget to leave the door unlocked for me tonight!”
Meng Ziyi just smiled.
Though she doted on Chu Fei, she couldn’t cross the final line.
After all, they were still bound by a blood contract.
The scene just now was merely to provoke Shen Miaoyu and let off some steam.
Suddenly, she thought again of the strange black box.
If even someone at the peak of martial arts couldn’t open it, what on earth could be inside?
…
In the living room, Shen Miaoyu scolded Chu Fei, “Don’t you have any shame? I was just downstairs and you still…”
“It was just a joke with Third Senior Sister. We knew you were eavesdropping,” Chu Fei interrupted.
Shen Miaoyu looked puzzled. “Then why did you do all that?”
“To make you jealous. To show you that you actually care about me,” Chu Fei looked at her with deep affection.
Shen Miaoyu was stunned.
Then, blushing, she snapped, “Stop spouting nonsense!” and hurried back to her room.
Meanwhile, Secretary Jin, who’d been snacking and watching the drama unfold, put her melon down and gave Chu Fei a thumbs up.
…
The next morning.
Chu Fei didn’t bother with the black box for now.
Instead, he headed to Dragon City University, planning to meet his first fiancée.
According to the information his third senior sister provided, this fiancée was Jiang Yunqi, the campus belle of Dragon City University, pursued by countless suitors; though she flirted, she’d never actually dated anyone.
Chu Fei mused… Isn’t this the classic “queen of the sea”?
—When players meet, let’s see who can outdo the other in being a heartbreaker!
