Chapter 110: The Father Steps In After the Son Is Beaten
Inside the room, Chu Fei was using his spiritual power to purge the toxins from their bodies, helping them regain their senses. The air was thick with a musky, intoxicating scent—the alluring aroma emanating from two perfect bodies. Such a vivid, sensuous scene would overwhelm even the most disciplined officials, let alone Chu Fei, an unabashed lecher. Yet, his willpower was unyielding. Despite his lustful nature and lack of scruples, keeping promises was one of the few virtues he upheld. Since he had vowed not to lay a hand on Song Yalan, he would not break his word.
Chu Fei’s spiritual energy infiltrated their bodies through acupoints, sweeping over them like a wave of heat, igniting the fierce desires they struggled to suppress. Both Song Yalan and Guan Ya’s faces flushed deeply. Moments later, they both panted softly, collapsing weakly onto the bed as their consciousness slowly returned.
“What happened?” Song Yalan looked at Chu Fei with confusion; she was still unaware that she had been drugged. Before Chu Fei could explain, Guan Ya covered Song Yalan with a blanket.
“Mom, you’re not wearing any clothes!”
“Oh... this!” Song Yalan suddenly realized she was naked and shot an angry glare at Chu Fei.
“Did you do this?” she demanded.
Chu Fei shrugged defensively. “What makes you think it was me? Trying to frame me? You took your clothes off as soon as you entered the room—I barely had time to stop you!”
“Then why didn’t I take mine off?” Guan Ya challenged him. Logically, she should have acted just like Song Yalan, since both had been drugged. Chu Fei’s explanation was hard to believe. If he hadn’t undressed himself, it must mean he looked down on her!
“You can take them off now if you want,” Chu Fei rolled his eyes. “Does it really matter? You should focus on explaining to your mom what actually happened.”
Guan Ya mumbled something and then recounted everything that had transpired. Song Yalan’s face darkened with rage. “I never imagined Qi Yushu could be so shameless, resorting to poisoning to force himself on me!”
“Yeah, luckily Chu Fei showed up in time, or the consequences would have been unimaginable,” Guan Ya added, still shaken.
Song Yalan glared at Chu Fei, a hint of stubbornness in her tone. “I thought you said you were tired of me—why are you meddling now?”
“Do you know why I wrote the Tao Te Ching?” Chu Fei retorted.
“Because I wanted to,” he added with a smirk. “Besides, being tired of you and saving you are two different things. What’s mine, no one else is allowed to touch, even if I lose it.”
Though his words sounded harsh, upon reflection, they were even harsher. Even Guan Ya thought, “Well said. Next time, just keep quiet.”
“Mom, there’s one more thing I have to tell you.” Guan Ya turned to Song Yalan with solemn eyes. “Dad was killed by Qi Yushu.”
The shock on Song Yalan's face was mirrored by Chu Fei’s furious outburst. “That bastard’s not even human! Even I, a pervert, find him sickening!”
Chu Fei had little respect for many people, though he himself was far from virtuous. These facts did not contradict each other. Song Yalan’s expression darkened. “Where is he now?”
“Kneeling outside,” Chu Fei answered.
Without a word, Song Yalan dressed and left the room. She saw Qi Yushu kneeling on the ground and immediately slapped him across the face.
Qi Yushu, realizing Song Yalan knew the truth, stopped pretending and sneered, “Hit me all you want. My father’s coming soon, and you won’t get another chance.”
“Why did you do this?” Song Yalan’s eyes were red with fury. “Your family never accepted me back then, and you were too cowardly to fight for us. That’s why we broke up! This has nothing to do with Guan Caijun. Why kill him?”
After all these years with Guan Caijun, she couldn’t believe she had no feelings for him. She never dreamed it was Qi Yushu—always professing his love for her—who had dealt the fatal blow.
“Because he deserved it,” Qi Yushu sneered with contempt. “Did you think my woman was anyone else’s to touch? You know what he said before he died? He begged me on his knees to spare you. How could I let you go free?”
“You, and the daughter you bore, are my playthings. You betrayed me by marrying another man; you should have expected this consequence.”
Song Yalan ground her teeth. “If you hated me so much, why did you give me three billion?”
“You’re really stupid,” Qi Yushu laughed mockingly. “Do you think I’d ever give you that kind of money? Do you think you’re worth that much?”
If not Qi Yushu, then who else? Instinctively, Song Yalan looked at Chu Fei. He was standing with his arms crossed, watching the drama unfold. When Song Yalan’s gaze met his, he frowned. “You deal with your own problems. Why look at me?”
Song Yalan asked, “Was it you who had Tan Yingyao give me that thirty billion?”
Chu Fei shrugged, wearing an expression of complete nonchalance. “Oh, that little sum? Yeah, I made him give it to you. What of it?”
“That little sum?” Those words pierced Song Yalan’s already fragile heart like a sharp icicle. Thirty billion was no small amount. The more Chu Fei acted indifferent, the more she felt like a fool.
But now the money no longer mattered. With Guan Caijun dead at Qi Yushu’s hands, Song Yalan was determined to avenge him.
Gripping the scissors on the table, she aimed them at Qi Yushu.
Qi Yushu sneered, “What? You, a filthy woman, want to avenge Guan Caijun? Don’t forget, I have the Qi family backing me. If you kill me, you’ll all go down with me!”
His words drenched Song Yalan in cold water, sobering her instantly.
Chu Fei took the scissors from her hand calmly. “He’ll die tonight. You don’t need to dirty your hands.”
Just then, Qi Wenshan arrived with Qi Xueqing. No one else accompanied them—Qi Wenshan himself was a formidable expert.
Seeing Qi Wenshan, Qi Yushu immediately pleaded, “Dad, save me! Kill them!”
Qi Wenshan glared at Chu Fei furiously. “How dare you beat my son like this? You owe me an explanation!”
Chu Fei sneered coldly. “You didn’t notify my Third Senior Sister. Looks like you planned to act first and report later.”
Indeed, Qi Wenshan had deliberately kept Meng Ziyi out of the loop. If she had been present, she would have defended Chu Fei, making it impossible for Qi Wenshan to act. So, he aimed to punish Chu Fei first, then call Meng Ziyi to collect the body later.
Qi Xueqing, who had long disliked Chu Fei, seized the opportunity to urge Qi Wenshan, “Grandpa, why waste words with this bumpkin? Just take him down!”
Qi Wenshan’s eyes sharpened as his spiritual pressure soared to its peak. It was clear he was about to personally deal with Chu Fei.
