Chapter 125: I Hope You Will Hand Over Your Storage Rings Peacefully
This single remark offended not just the First Elder, but all the elders present.
Qian Mo’s words left them absolutely livid!
The elder behind the First Elder spoke first, his voice trembling with fury: "You unweaned brat, how dare you speak to us in such a manner!"
The First Elder bellowed, "Have you no sense of propriety!"
"He deserves to die!"
The group glared at him, their faces dark with murderous intent.
They unleashed their killing intent directly upon Qian Mo, but to their astonishment, he remained completely unmoved.
*Arrogant!* That was the only word that crossed their minds.
Qian Mo, however, simply waved away their killing intent with a look of disdain.
"We won't bully you. Mang Tian, go up there and test him. Give him a taste of his own medicine!" the First Elder commanded, his tone dripping with rage.
"With pleasure. I’ve found him insufferable from the start, so full of himself! Time to teach him a lesson!" Mang Tian stepped out from the group of five, his voice harsh and cruel.
"Be careful. This person managed to defeat Mang Zhuang and the others, so he is no simple opponent. Do not underestimate him," the First Elder whispered to Mang Tian, his eyes narrowing.
Mang Tian glanced at the unconscious figures below and nodded solemnly. "I understand."
...
How could a sound-transmission possibly escape Qian Mo’s notice? He heard every word clearly, the corners of his mouth curling into a look of utter contempt.
No matter the trickery, it would crumble into nothingness before absolute power!
He let them continue their secret exchange.
Unbothered, Qian Mo pulled a pack of cigarettes from his coat, placed one in his mouth, and lit it.
"Is that... Heavenly Flame?!" The group stared at the object in his hand, their eyes widening in greed. The Heavenly Flame was right before them; they could not let him escape!
Qian Mo watched their ignorant expressions with amusement.
He exhaled a cloud of smoke. Mistaking it for a dangerous weapon, the group shouted, "Watch out! It’s toxic gas!"
Terrified, they all held their breath.
Mang Tian snarled, "How despicable! You’re actually using poison!"
Qian Mo was stunned by their reaction and Mang Tian’s words. *What are you doing? I’m just smoking a cigarette and exhaling. Is such an exaggeration really necessary?* Qian Mo was speechless; they had mistaken ordinary vapor for poison gas... he couldn't help but be dumbfounded.
"This man dares to use poison! He is courting death!"
Mang Tian produced an axe, spun it once, raised it high, and brought it down toward Qian Mo: "Python Shocking Cleave!"
Qian Mo watched the axe descend.
Seeing his opponent smiling without a hint of fear, Mang Tian was instantly enraged. Was this a provocation? He roared, "Not dodging? Not blocking? Truly arrogant!" *If this brat thinks he can look down on me, I’ll show him some real power! Otherwise, my name isn't Mang Tian!*
Qian Mo’s lips curled. He reached out two fingers and clamped them firmly onto the blade!
In that instant, a gale of battle energy swept through the area, ruffling Qian Mo’s long hair. It was a remarkably cool sight.
With a few stray locks falling across his cheek, the angle was perfect.
The scene left the others stunned. *How is this possible!*
"Dodge? Block? There was simply no need," Qian Mo said softly, his tone filled with disdain.
As he spoke, he applied a slight pressure with his fingers. Cracks began to spiderweb across the axe, and with a *bang*, the entire weapon shattered, dissolving into nothingness in mid-air—not even dust or fragments remained.
Qian Mo flicked his finger, and a hurricane swept forward.
The wind transformed into blades, lashing out at Mang Tian.
"Ahhh!!"
The wind blades struck with blinding speed, and Mang Tian let out a cry of agony.
"Mang Tian!"
"Damn you, I’ll deal with you myself!" The First Elder, incensed, lunged toward Qian Mo.
"Ghost Binding Split! Release him, Mang Tian!"
His right hand transformed into countless black heads, black mist surging toward Qian Mo. The surrounding battle energy coalesced into a massive black vortex, which accompanied the First Elder’s body as he charged.
"Child's play," Qian Mo glanced at him, unimpressed.
"How dare you be so arrogant!" The First Elder roared, furious at being looked down upon!
Qian Mo reached out, grabbed Mang Tian, and hurled him directly at the First Elder. "Break!" he said flatly.
The First Elder sneered. *Just saying 'break' and it actually breaks? Who does he think he’s fooling!*
But the moment the thought crossed his mind, the vibrating black mist of battle energy simply vanished into thin air.
The First Elder felt a chill. "What! Impossible!"
"Impossible!" the others behind him shouted, refusing to believe their eyes.
They must have been hallucinating!
Qian Mo couldn't be bothered to pay them any more mind and launched his next attack: "Hand of the Emperor!"
He raised his hand, and in an instant, the battle energy and spiritual power in the sky converged into a colossal golden palm!
"Oh no! Run!"
The eyes of the group constricted as they shouted. They could feel the aura of death!
"Run? Is it really that easy?" Qian Mo scoffed.
He reached out to snatch them up. Some tried to tear open space to escape, but the area had long since been sealed by Qian Mo. Run? How could they run?
"Damn it, I can't break through the rift, this space is sealed!" one man roared, only to turn and see a giant hand sweeping toward him.
"Ah! Ah!"
Unable to escape, all five were easily toyed with in Qian Mo’s palm.
"No, don't!"
As Qian Mo’s golden palm gripped them and slammed them into the ground, the group screamed in terror.
*Bang! Bang!*
*Bang! Bang!*
*Bang! Bang!*
...
The sound repeated again and again. Their cries grew weaker—not because they stopped, but because they couldn't make a sound anymore. The man was a pervert, a demon who delighted in torture!
One by one, the elders were slammed until they vomited blood.
Qian Mo treated them like lumps of clay. Suddenly, he grabbed all five and hurled them against a massive boulder nearby.
*Bang!*
"Argh!"
Five mouthfuls of blood sprayed simultaneously.
"Infinite Suppression!" Qian Mo commanded.
The group felt a crushing aura of majesty. Their expressions changed again as they were smashed into the ground with a thud.
*He's a pervert!* they screamed inwardly.
*Don't you know how to respect your elders?!*
*Torturing five old men like this, our bones can't take it!*
As they hit the ground, they vomited blood once more.
"Devil... a devil..." The group’s eyes widened, blood trickling from their mouths. They were too weak to move, muttering in despair. Their hearts were completely consumed by fear.
Just looking at Qian Mo made them tremble...
***
How could such a perverted existence even exist? The First Elder thought in terror. He was a six-star peak Dou Sheng, yet he couldn't survive a single strike from this man, let alone resist. The man treated them like mere toys. He struggled to lift his head to look at Qian Mo, who appeared as calm as could be, still puffing on his cigarette.
Qian Mo walked over to them, and they recoiled in fear.
A chair appeared out of nowhere behind Qian Mo, and he sat down. Watching their fearful expressions, he felt a bit helpless. They were so arrogant before; what was with this act now? Qian Mo removed the cigarette from his mouth and exhaled a plume of white smoke.
He glanced at them and asked, "Do you want to try one?"
The group shook their heads violently.
"Suit yourselves."
Qian Mo took another drag and said nonchalantly, "Why are you people so fond of courting death? I just came for a stroll and a casual robbery. Wouldn't it have been better if you had just cooperated and handed over your rings? I only rob, I don't kill. But you ignored my words and offended my dignity, so perhaps I should have killed you all."
Hearing this, the group shuddered, their hearts filled with dread.
Qian Mo paused before continuing, "However, I am a generous person. Consider this a small punishment to let you know your place. Four-star Dou Sheng? Five-star peak? Six-star peak? In my eyes, you're just toys for me to play with. Besides, I do know how to respect my elders."
The group was furious at his words—what did he mean by "toys"? But looking at the evidence, it seemed to be the truth.
They were completely helpless.
They had to accept it; they were no match for him, even combined... but they were still so angry!
"Forget it, I won't waste any more breath on you old folks. You've lived for so long, you must have collected many treasures. I'll take them off your hands for safekeeping." With a flick of his finger, the storage rings were stripped from their fingers.
*No! Don't! Don't take my ring! No! That’s our retirement fund!! You devil!! You beat us and now you're robbing our pension!!*
*Wuwuwu!!*
The five men screamed internally.
Unfortunately, they were too weak to speak, fearing that if they did, he would slap them into oblivion.
Qian Mo examined the rings. He scanned them with his divine sense; there were defenses, but they were as good as nothing before him. He dismantled them effortlessly.
The group stared at him, their eyes bloodshot.
Qian Mo scanned the contents and his eyes lit up. He hadn't expected to find a cauldron. It was only one, but it could still be sold for money. It might not be worth much, but every little bit counts! Heh heh! He wouldn't be polite.
Qian Mo moved all the valuable and rare items into his own ring, leaving behind the worthless junk.
Seeing how old they were, it wouldn't be right to take everything. As a Chinese person, he still understood the value of respecting one's elders.
Qian Mo toyed with the rings in his hand and said to them, "Ahem, I am not a heartless man. Seeing as you are so old and will need money for your retirement, I will make an exception. I only take what I need. Here, take them back."
When the group heard this, they were a mix of excitement, gratitude, and hatred. There had been so many good things in there! What he called "what I need" must have been the best treasures! There was no doubt about that.
They checked their rings and felt like crying. Every single good item was gone, cleaned out completely. All that remained were useless techniques and various scraps.
"Haha, aren't you happy? I returned your things, you must be overjoyed!" Qian Mo laughed at them!
*Happy my foot!!*
*Argh! Why did I have to encounter this perverted devil!*
The group wailed. They had been beaten, bled, and now their treasures had been stolen—they were bleeding out!
...
Qian Mo looked at the unconscious people in the distance and then back at the old ghosts. He rubbed his chin, his eyes lighting up.
"By the way, you Black Rock Pythons have existed for millions of years... Heh heh!" Qian Mo grinned wickedly.
Seeing this, they thought, *Oh no! This pervert is setting his sights on the clan!*
"No, don't!" the First Elder cried out weakly.
"Heh heh, don't worry, I won't touch your treasury. I’ll only rob your people. I am a man of dignity," Qian Mo said with an evil smile.
The group fell silent. They knew anything they said was a waste of breath.
Qian Mo’s eyes darted around. "So, I need you to do me a favor... Heh heh!"
The group shivered at his smile. They knew nothing good would come of this! A bone-chilling sensation rose through their bodies.
They swallowed hard, knowing the true terror was about to begin.
Qian Mo waved his hand, binding everyone there into the void.
He stood up and looked into the cave dwelling. He flew inside, drifting into the void.
"What are you going to do to us!!" the First Elder shouted.
"Shut up. As long as I don't kill you, just behave and cooperate. If you don't want me to harm your disciples, then stay quiet. Otherwise, if I accidentally use too much force and your disciples disappear, don't blame me!" Qian Mo said, patting their shoulders.
"You, you... demon!!" the First Elder shouted, his eyes red.
"A demon... am I?"
"That name doesn't suit me!"
"Remember, the one who robbed you is Qian Mo, Master of the Samsara Hall," Qian Mo said flatly.
"Samsara Hall! What kind of faction is that? 'Hall'? Are you from the Soul Hall?!" The group’s eyes widened. If this man was from the Soul Hall, the continent was doomed!!
Qian Mo rolled his eyes and smacked them on the head. "What are you thinking? I’m not from the Soul Hall! The Soul Hall? How laughable. I could destroy them with a flick of my wrist. They are my target, too. Before long, I’ll clean them out, leave nothing behind. Their treasures are much better than yours... Heh heh!"
He paused and added, "So, you should be happy. I didn't take everything you had, and you are the first target I’ve ever set my sights on."
Qian Mo shrugged.
*So that means we, the Python Clan, were the first ones he attacked!*
*Why am I so unlucky!!*
*Why us!! Heaven, you are unfair!!*
They screamed, but Qian Mo ignored them.
...
Inside the cave dwelling, there was a landmass about the size of Dragon Island. It was quite large, though smaller than Dragon Island. Dragon Island was established in the void, carving out its own boundary, whereas the Pythons lived on land. As to why they hadn't carved out a void boundary, one would have to ask their ancestors.
On the Python Clan’s sparring stage, disciples were constantly fighting.
"Mang Yu, take this new move!"
"Fire Heaven Technique!"
A young lad on the stage shouted and attacked the man in front of him.
"Hmph, don't think you're the only one who learned something new. Take this!"
"Giant Rock Fist!"
The two leaped and attacked each other.
*Bang—*
The sound of their collision echoed out.
It wasn't just in one place; battles were raging all around.
...
"I heard there’s a banquet today. I’m really looking forward to it."
"Me too! I heard there’s Martian Fruit to eat."
"Really! Martian Fruit is such a treasure." The crowd licked their lips.
Qian Mo appeared high above, looking down at the lively scene.
"So lively, isn't it? I wonder if they'll still be able to laugh in a moment. I'm really looking forward to it," Qian Mo muttered from high above.
He descended, stopped in the middle of the area, and shouted, "Hello, everyone!"
The crowd’s attention was drawn to him.
One man frowned. "Who is he? I don't think anyone in our Python Clan looks like that."
"Mang Yu."
"Mang Shui."
The two called out to each other. They were both five-star Dou Zuns; if there was trouble, they could step up, but since they weren't sure if he was there to cause chaos, they decided to wait and see.
"Heh heh, I’m here to rob you."
"Would you mind standing in lines—men on the left, women on the right? It would make things easier for me. Just hand over your storage rings! Heh heh!" Qian Mo looked at them and rubbed his hands.
The crowd was furious, thinking he was an idiot for daring to run wild in the Python Clan’s territory, and robbing them at that!
"Haha, how ridiculous. This is the Python Clan’s territory! Is this a place where an ant like you can rob us?!"
"Arrogant!" Mang Yu and Mang Shui shouted.
"Haha, Mang Yu, don't fight me for this. I'll deal with this arrogant fool first," Mang Shui shouted, summoning his greatsword and stepping forward.
"Mang Shui, you! How despicable!" Mang Yu pointed at the sky, furious that he had been beaten to the punch.
"Wow, it’s Mang Shui!"
"Wow, it’s our clan’s genius! A five-star Dou Zun at such a young age!"
"My idol, Mang Shui!"
"Brother Mang Shui, kill him!"
Seeing Mang Shui appear, the crowd below started clamoring.
"Damn you, Mang Shui, stealing my spotlight!" Mang Yu clenched his fists, wishing he could beat him up. This scene should have been his!
Mang Shui flew into the high air, sword in hand, and looked down at Qian Mo with a sneer: "I heard you’re here to rob us? You truly are an ant."
The elders in the void watched Mang Shui’s posture and thought, *He’s doomed!*
He looked just like they had moments ago, right before they were beaten...
*Mang Shui, we wish you peace...*
The elders seemed to already see the outcome.
The elders in the void could see them, but they couldn't see the elders, otherwise, they wouldn't be so arrogant.
Qian Mo yawned, a sleepy yawn, and asked, "Are you the representative here?"
"Hmph, obviously," Mang Yu sneered, then added, "You have no idea where your courage comes from, daring to rob our Python Clan. This is an offense to our dignity!"
"Truly reckless! Take my blade!"
"Python Heavenly Triple Slash!"
He flew into the air, swinging his greatsword and unleashing three rapid slashes. Three massive purple blades surged toward Qian Mo.
*It’s over...* the elders in the void thought.
Qian Mo looked at the three giant blades with disdain and flicked his finger. "Child's play," he said flatly.
"Break."
The three purple blade beams vanished instantly.
"What?!" Mang Yu cried out in shock.
"What?!" Mang Shui below also shouted in surprise.
Neither could believe their eyes. They were gone.
"No, impossible!" "Again!"
Mang Yu roared, swinging his blade repeatedly until he unleashed a final, powerful strike: "Python Heavenly Blade!"
He lunged at Qian Mo!
Seeing Qian Mo motionless, he sneered, "Arrogant!"
Qian Mo grew bored and decided to stop playing. He shook his head in disappointment and reached out, clamping his two fingers firmly onto the blade.
"What?!"
The crowd below was no longer calm. This was not what they expected!
They had expected Mang Yu to beat this man into the ground and stand atop the pinnacle!
But now, everything was wrong. Mang Yu’s great blade was caught by two fingers, and the man didn't even seem to be straining!
He looked so relaxed!
Mang Yu tried to pull away, but no matter how hard he tugged, it wouldn't budge!
Mang Yu panicked. *Damn it, why did I play the hero?!* He was terrified of losing face. Being so flashy just a moment ago and now ending up like this... it was humiliating!
Qian Mo looked cool and collected, staring at Mang Yu with a ghostly, curled smile.
Seeing that smile, Mang Yu was utterly terrified. It was so sinister; he had a bad feeling.
His eyes constricted as he watched cracks appear on his greatsword, until finally, with a *bang*, it shattered.
"W-what?!" The fragments dissolved into nothingness right before his eyes.
Qian Mo raised his hand, and Mang Yu felt a wave of terror. "Oh no!"
"Oh no!" Mang Shui shouted from below!
But it was too late. Qian Mo hated people who tried to show off in front of him. These people needed a harsh lesson—they needed to know that *he* was the king of cool, and showing off came with a price!
Mang Yu tried to flee, but he was too slow.
"Burst," Qian Mo said flatly, flicking his finger!
An unprecedented hurricane blade shot toward Mang Yu, lashing out at him madly.
"Ahhh!!!—"
A cry of agony echoed throughout the entire cave dwelling.
*Tsk tsk, too painful to watch!* The elders in the void closed their eyes, not daring to look at the wretched scene. *You asked for it, showing off in front of him!*
Mang Yu was shredded by countless wind blades. His clothes were torn to pieces, and blood sprayed from his skin.
He had become a blood-soaked mess.
Mang Yu’s voice was weak, struggling to speak: "S-senior, spare me! I was blind and failed to recognize your greatness..."
Qian Mo withdrew the wind blades and flicked his finger at him. "Get down there. You picked the wrong person to show off to!"
A blast of battle energy struck Mang Yu.
"Argh!!"
Mang Yu vomited blood, his eyes bulging.
He was sent flying downward at high speed, rolling until he stopped, face-up.
He lay there motionless, vomited one last mouthful of blood, and passed out.
In that spot, there was only Mang Yu’s figure and a long trail of blood leading to him.
Mang Shui below was scared witless, thanking Mang Yu inwardly for being the one to step up first. If not for him, he would be the one lying there.
Mang Shui felt his entire body go limp, shivering uncontrollably. How strong was this man?!
And why hadn't the elders and the Clan Leader arrived yet, despite all the commotion?!
If they knew the Clan Leader and the elders had already been captured and beaten to a pulp, their last hope would be gone!!
*Sigh, a moment of silence...*
The crowd dared not look at Mang Yu; the scene was too miserable, too unbearable!
The crowd below trembled. If even their idol, Brother Mang Yu, had been beaten like that, wouldn't they be even worse off?
They began to shiver.
They dared not resist!!
