Chapter 117: 133 The First Slash, The Profound Slash!
Yun Shan and his disciple were startled by the sudden clap of thunder. "This is a manifestation of the heavens," Yun Shan muttered, his face turning solemn. It seemed this was no trivial matter; to go against it might invite divine retribution. But then, he reasoned, he had no intention of betrayal, so there was no need to worry.
"Welcome both of you to the Samsara Palace. Now, let us take a look at the scale of the main hall," Qian Mo said, waving his hand. A crack appeared in the air beside him, slowly expanding into a rift.
The two stared at the expanding barrier. "This... what is this?"
"Come inside, to the Samsara Main Hall." With that, Qian Mo turned and stepped into the rift, and the two followed him in.

Once inside, they were completely stunned by the sight before them.
"This... in this world, such a thing actually exists?" Yun Shan said, unable to believe his eyes.
"Since you are now members of the Samsara Palace, come and receive your benefits." Two beams of light shot from Qian Mo’s hands, entering the bodies of Yun Yi and Yun Shan. "This is the Samsara Palace's legacy technique: the *Samsara Canon*."
"The *Samsara Canon*..." they murmured. As their consciousness reached into their minds, they saw glowing characters appearing. The usage and origins of the *Samsara Canon* flooded their minds, integrating instantly into their consciousness.
Suddenly, a glow radiated from Yun Yi’s body. "What is this?" she whispered, filled with confusion as she looked at the light enveloping her.
Feeling her body undergoing a sublimation, Yun Yi’s pupils contracted. She could feel her Wind Jade Body transforming, supported by the Samsara Palace’s body-tempering system, evolving directly into a Wind God Body!
The Wind God Body was far superior to the Wind Jade Body. Although they differed by only one word, its grade had long surpassed the Heaven-tier. However, it had to be cultivated from the beginning. Fortunately, the previous progress was not lost; she remained at the mid-level of the Profound-tier. Indeed, within a month, with Qian Mo’s help, she had advanced from the Huang-tier to the Profound-tier, though she had stalled for the last half-month. It was only after merging with the *Samsara Canon* that she had ascended from the early to the mid-level of the Profound-tier.
"Wind God Body? My Wind Jade Body has evolved into a Wind God Body, and I've broken through to the mid-level of the Profound-tier..." Yun Yi murmured, her smile filled with shock and disbelief.
Qian Mo heard her and smiled slightly. "Oh? A Wind God Body? That is a physique that transcends the Heaven-tier. Furthermore, your future body-tempering will continue to evolve as your planes of existence and cultivation techniques improve."
Yun Yi stood there blankly for a long time. "Surpasses... the Heaven-tier? And it will... evolve?" As for the "planes" Qian Mo mentioned, she was completely lost.
"Brother Yun Shan, what did you obtain?" Qian Mo turned his attention to him.
"The... Heaven Mountain Body!" Yun Shan was stunned, completely bewildered.
"Oh? The Heaven Mountain Body. It seems you are both very fortunate. That, too, is a physique that transcends the Heaven-tier. Both of you have surpassed the Heaven-tier—fitting for master and disciple," Qian Mo laughed.
The hierarchy of body-tempering physiques was as follows: Huang-tier, Profound-tier, Earth-tier, Heaven-tier, Emperor-tier, Immortal Body, Saint Body, Venerable Body, Immortal Supreme Body, Perfection Body, Chaos Body, Half-Step Sovereign Body, and Sovereign Body.
Afterward, Qian Mo gave them some instructions. Like others before them, they were shocked by the time dilation of the Samsara Realm—one year inside was but a day outside. It was truly unfathomable.
From nothing to something, and from something back to nothing—all causality exists in a constant cycle.
It was decided that Yun Shan would remain to oversee the sect and cultivate in the Samsara Realm, while Yun Yi would accompany Qian Mo on his travels. Yun Yan would be left in Yun Shan's care.

At dawn, the time for parting arrived. After saying their goodbyes, Qian Mo and Yun Yi mounted Zixuan and set off for the new continent. Zi Mo, meanwhile, returned to the Samsara Realm to play.
Above the clouds, Qian Mo lay on Zixuan’s back, enjoying the scenery. Yun Yi asked, "Husband, where are we going?"
Qian Mo spoke with a straight face, weaving a tale: "Legends speak of a boundless darkness, the roar of dragons, and an underground domain to the east of the Jia Ma Empire! The Black-Corner Region!" It was all complete nonsense.
"The Black-Corner Region? I have heard of it, but is it really as formidable as you say?" Yun Yi recalled what she knew, and it didn't seem as mysterious as he described.
"I was just making it up to set the mood," Qian Mo coughed. "I could wipe that place out with a wave of my hand."
Yun Yi smacked him playfully. "As I thought! You can't be serious for even a moment!"
Qian Mo grinned teasingly. "Why? Don't you like me like this? What kind of husband do you prefer?" He lounged on Zixuan’s back.
Yun Yi pouted. "You're just not serious."
Qian Mo looked at her with a wicked glint in his eyes. "Hehe, enough talk." He pulled her into his arms. "Let's keep going. We'll talk when we reach the Black-Corner Region. I'm tired."
Yun Yi shook her head desperately, but Qian Mo pulled her close, rolling over to hold her against his chest. She grew used to it, and as long as he didn't do "that," she cooperated. They fell into a peaceful sleep. Zixuan rolled her eyes, thinking, *Hmph, sleeping again!*
Time passed, and Zixuan flew swiftly through the high sky, bathed in bright sunlight.
After a long sleep, they arrived in the sky above the Black-Corner Region.

Qian Mo woke up and patted Zixuan’s neck. "Zixuan, go back to the Samsara Realm and rest."
Zixuan nodded, relieved to finally be off duty.
The Black-Corner Region was rumored to be a training ground for the students of Canaan Academy, which was why the experts of the academy had not wiped out this den of vipers.
"The Black-Corner Region, the Wind Emperor City, the Medicine Emperor Han Feng?" Qian Mo murmured. "A man who betrayed his master and destroyed his ancestors—what right does he have to call himself the Medicine Emperor? How laughable." He looked up. "Old Medicine, since I have chosen your soul, I shall rid the world of this scourge." A cold, murderous aura flickered across his lips.
"Is this the Black-Corner Region?" Yun Yi asked, looking at the chaotic surroundings.
"Yes, let’s go have some fun." Qian Mo took her hand and they strolled along the road until they reached an inn. "Are you hungry?"
Yun Yi touched her stomach and nodded. "Yes."
They entered the inn, which was filled with rough men. When they walked in, every eye fell upon Yun Yi. "Tsk tsk, what a fine piece of goods!" a lecherous man muttered, his eyes stripping her bare.
Qian Mo’s face turned icy. The temperature in the inn plummeted, causing everyone to shiver. In the corner, a man and a woman exchanged a terrified glance. "What a terrifying person," they whispered.
Qian Mo shot a murderous look at the lecherous man. In an instant, the five men at that table exploded into blood and gore.
"Ants dare to covet my woman? You seek death," Qian Mo said coldly.
"Husband, we came here to eat. You're getting blood everywhere; I’ll lose my appetite," Yun Yi said, her own face cold.
Qian Mo waved his hand, and the corpses vanished like trash. "Better now?"
They sat down, and a waiter hurried over, trembling. Qian Mo threw a bag of gold coins at him. "Bring us everything you have that’s delicious."
The waiter’s eyes lit up. "Yes, yes, sir! Right away!"
Soon, the table was piled with food. Yun Yi began to eat, knowing she was safe with Qian Mo.
Just then, a group of people burst in, led by a man wielding a massive axe. "Waiter, bring us food!"
The patrons whispered in fear: "It’s the Young Master of the Scorpion Tiger Sect, Xie Feng!"
Qian Mo narrowed his eyes. "Trouble again? I’m trying to eat."
Yun Yi, her mouth full, mumbled, "Ignore them. If they cause trouble, just wipe them out."
Qian Mo smiled. "Wife, you’ve been practicing the Six Meridians Divine Sword in the Yunlan Sect but haven't had a real fight. Do you want to use them for practice?"
"Yes!"
The waiter, terrified, approached the new group. "Young Master Xie, welcome..."
Xie Feng sat at the table where the five men had just died. "Don't worry about it. Just bring me the best food!"
He looked around and spotted Qian Mo and Yun Yi. His eyes lit up when he saw Yun Yi. "A beauty!" He walked over, posing arrogantly. "Beautiful lady, I am Xie Feng of the Scorpion Tiger Sect. Would you care to join me for a meal?"
Yun Yi looked at him with disgust. "Don't you find yourself disgusting? The Scorpion Tiger Sect? Some nameless little sect. A mere Great Martial Master acting high and mighty—get lost!"
"Hahaha!" Qian Mo burst out laughing, followed by the rest of the inn.
Xie Feng’s face darkened, veins bulging. "You bitch! Go to hell!" He struck out with a murderous aura.
Yun Yi remained calm. "Mystic Slash!"
Countless sword blades, too fast for the naked eye to see, swept across Xie Feng’s limbs. In an instant, his hands and legs were severed. Qian Mo conjured a barrier to keep the blood off their food, then blasted Xie Feng out of the inn.
The inn fell silent. Xie Feng’s lackeys scrambled to feed him medicine, his screams filling the air.
Qian Mo looked at one of the lackeys. "You! Come here!"
The man trembled, falling to his knees. "Spare me, sir!"
"Pick up your master's limbs and get them out of my sight!"
The man scrambled to obey, terrified. Xie Feng’s limbs were thrown at him, and the sight of his master’s mangled form made him vomit blood in rage.
"I’ve lost my appetite," Qian Mo said, putting down his chopsticks.
He stood up and walked toward the remaining lackeys. "You ruined my meal, so you must die." With a wave of his hand, sword qi descended.
"No, no! Argh!"
Blood flowed like a river. Qian Mo wiped the corpses away, leaving only the unconscious, limb-less Xie Feng. He turned to the last surviving lackey. "Take him and his limbs back to your sect. Tell your Sect Master, his father, that this is the price for offending those he cannot afford to provoke. If he comes for revenge, I will raze the Scorpion Tiger Sect to the ground. Get out!"
The man scrambled to obey, dragging the broken body of his master away as he fled in terror.
