Chapter 129: You Won't Have Any Friends If You Keep Acting Like This!

3x critical strike with a lethal blow!

A golden number indicated the gang leader’s absolute demise!

-2995!

Watching the gang leader’s head vanish, Chen Yun suppressed his nausea and spoke to the thugs who were frozen in terror: "If you don't want to end up like him, get out of here immediately. If I catch you bullying others again, don’t blame me for being ruthless. If your boss's brother asks who killed him, tell him: I do not change my name, nor do I hide my identity—I am Chen Yun from the Yehuo Hotel! Now drag these two away and get lost!"

The thugs were so terrified they had wet themselves. They scrambled to drag and pull their dead and maimed companions away, fleeing with the greatest speed of their lives.

They were paralyzed with fear, never imagining they would encounter such a ruthless man. He had dared to kill the younger brother of the city’s SWAT captain! If this man wasn't a fool, he must have a powerful background—he was someone they could not afford to provoke.

Watching the thugs run off, Chen Yun walked up to the two brothers and said with a smile, "I truly admire your brotherly bond. Sell this fish to me; I’ll give you one purple gold coin."

"Huh?" The brothers were stunned, gasping, "One purple gold coin?"

It was a sudden turn of fortune. They had thought their day was ruined, but after someone intervened to drive the thugs away, he now wanted to buy their fish for the astronomical price of one purple gold coin. Could the Heavenly Dragon God have manifested to send them a savior?

"Benefactor, if not for you, my brother and I would be dead. Please, take the fish as a gift; we don't want your money," the older brother said, shaking his head.

"Yes, benefactor, his brother won't let you off after what you've done. You should get in a vehicle, and we'll deliver the fish to your home before we flee."

"That won't be necessary. As I said before, if his brother doesn't come for me, fine. If he does, he’ll meet the same fate as his brother. Take the money. After I finish with this fish, you can sell its carcass to a seafood shop and earn yourself another profit." Chen Yun insisted on thrusting the purple gold coin into their hands before turning to the dying world boss.

The brothers were utterly bewildered. What did he mean by killing the fish and then giving them the carcass to sell?

Did he buy the fish just to kill it, not to eat it?

Who had such a hobby?

Although the world boss was powerful, it couldn't survive long out of water. In this short time, the Mola Mola's health had dropped from 237 to 69. Chen Yun estimated it would be completely dead in less than five minutes.

"Let me send you on your way. Make your final contribution." Chen Yun applied the Elemental Bullet status to himself and pulled the trigger at the Mola Mola.

-2!

Chen Yun’s mouth twitched. He knew this would happen. The defensive power of a world-class boss was terrifyingly high; with his current attack power, he could only force one point of damage.

The reason it dealt two points was purely due to the additional magic damage from the Elemental Bullet.

The brothers on the sidelines were baffled once more. *What the hell is going on?*

They had witnessed the power of that gun—it had blown limbs to shreds and reduced a head to fragments. How could it leave no mark at all on this fish? Was its skin that thick?

Chen Yun fired continuously at the fish's head. After thirty-five shots, he finally killed the dying world-class boss.

"Player Chen Yun has killed the Level 99 World-Class Boss, Mola Mola. Because the player only dealt 0.000001% of the boss's health, the system has automatically deducted 99.99% of the total rewards. The player has gained 10 million EXP (9.9 million deducted), 100 Sky Crystal Coins (99 Sky Crystal Coins and 9,900 purple gold coins deducted), three legendary-grade equipment pieces deducted, five epic-grade items deducted, and one immortal-grade special item deducted."

"Player Chen Yun has leveled up to Level 20."

*Damn it!* Chen Yun felt terrible the moment he heard this...

*You can play like this?!*

*System, you aren't just shameless; you have no face at all!*

*You won't have any friends like this!*

*My 10 million experience points!*

*My 100 Sky Crystal Coins!*

*My legendary equipment, epic items, and immortal-grade special item!!!*

"Player Chen Yun has killed a world-class boss for the first time. Reward: 1 million Reputation points. Player Chen Yun, would you like to make a global announcement?"

Chen Yun, who was wailing internally, paused. Wouldn't a global announcement mean everyone in the world would receive news that he killed the boss?

Thinking of this, Chen Yun immediately canceled the announcement. *Are you kidding me? A broadcast for this? This is reality, not a game!*

In a game, the first person to kill a boss would demand an announcement—it was a symbol of strength and supreme honor, earning the worship of countless players. But here, in reality, Chen Yun estimated that if he announced it, countless overt and covert government agents from every nation would come to find him and slice him up for research.

"You two go sell the fish, I'm leaving," Chen Yun waved his hand. Suddenly remembering the brothers' conversation, he took out a vial of Basic Full Recovery Potion and said to the older brother, "I don't know what illness your wife has, but this should be able to cure it. If you trust me, give it to her; if not, forget it. Goodbye."

A long time later, with Chen Yun’s back no longer in sight, the older brother looked at the small red vial in his hand and sighed deeply, "Brother, we met a truly good person today."

City SWAT Headquarters.

SWAT Captain Li Qiang stared silently at the mangled remains of his brother, Li Niu. After a long while, he squeezed out a single sentence: "All units, listen up! Surround the Yehuo Hotel and capture Chen Yun!"

"Captain, Chen Yun is a master-level chef..."

"So what if he’s a master-level chef? Even if he were a grandmaster chef, he killed my brother and must pay with his life! Last time he ruined my financial path, and this time he killed my brother. Chen Yun, I will bring you back and show you that sometimes, being alive is far more painful than being dead..."

"No need to come capture me. I'm already here." Chen Yun knew that given Li Qiang’s habit of providing bodyguards for his brother, the moment he found out his brother was dead, he would immediately send people to the hotel to seize him. Rather than being captured, it was better to come here himself and settle the matter.

Li Qiang looked up and saw Chen Yun walking in. He clapped his hands and said, "As expected of a master chef. Your composure alone commands my respect."

"Thank you for the praise. As a high-ranking official of the Empire, you sent bodyguards to protect a gang leader—I must say, I admire that as well," Chen Yun said, locking eyes with Li Qiang.

"There was no other way. My brother loved to fight and kill, and I went to great lengths to protect him. It’s a pity he is gone now..." Li Qiang stepped closer to Chen Yun, until they were only a fist's distance apart, and said coldly, "Chen Yun, Master Chen, you should know the consequences of coming here today."

"I know, of course. I came here today simply to eliminate a piece of human scum," Chen Yun glanced at the SWAT officers around him pointing their guns at him and smiled slightly, "Or perhaps, to eliminate even more scum."

"Scum? Ha!" Li Qiang threw his head back and laughed, "If you call me scum, then 80% of the officials in the entire Empire are scum."

"The founding Emperor of the Heavenly Dragon Empire once said: 'Those who follow me shall live; those who oppose me shall die.'"

"The second Emperor of the Heavenly Dragon Empire once said: 'Those who follow my will shall have wealth and honor; those who defy my will shall not have a complete corpse.'"

"The third Emperor of the Heavenly Dragon Empire once said: 'Those who do not submit to my will are all rebels; rebels shall be executed without mercy!'"

"The current Emperor of the Heavenly Dragon Empire has also said: 'If a man does not look out for himself, heaven and earth will destroy him!'"
