Forest Autumn let out a long breath, his face blooming with a brilliant smile. He took out a little mirror to admire himself, and in an instant his eyes turned dreamy and dazed.

“Absolutely gorgeous!”

Reluctantly, he put the mirror away, took out his meal card, pressed it against the door, and with a beep pushed the door open and wheeled his cart inside.

The moment he stepped in, Forest Autumn saw clothes and high heels thrown across the floor. He could not help sucking in a sharp breath, and his hands clenched tightly.

“This damned woman is far too sloppy. It’s making me sick just looking at it!”

Taking a breath and forcing down his irritation, he walked over to the pile, crouched, pulled a pair of gloves from his pocket, and slipped them on.

Then he exhaled again, picked up the clothes from the floor, and began folding them.

He was meticulous to the extreme; not a single crease remained. Carefully, he placed the clothes on the sofa beside him, adjusting their positions several times before nodding in satisfaction.

After that, he picked up the white high heels and set them neatly left and right on the wool rug.

Seeing the perfect symmetry, he let out a comfortable sigh. “That’s more like it.”

“Hey, you there. Bring the bath towel from my case.”

From the direction of the bathroom came the sound of running water, along with an imperious command.

When Forest Autumn heard that tone, he felt deeply displeased. This woman really took him for a servant.

Still, he opened the combination case. At once, his brows drew together hard again.

“At least she’s a diva. How can she live like this?”

Inside the case were quite a few toiletries and clothes, but they were all in a horrible jumble. With his obsession with cleanliness and order, he took out a bath towel and walked to the bathroom door.

At that moment, the door opened a narrow crack, and an arm, still dripping with water, reached out.

Forest Autumn placed the towel into her hand and turned away to continue tidying up.

When he looked back and saw the clothes in the case folded neatly at last, he let out another breath, a satisfied smile appearing on his face.

“You like tidying up?”

Crystal White’s voice came from behind him, tinged with curiosity.

“I have a thing about cleanliness and order. I can’t stand even the slightest bit of imbalance.”

Forest Autumn stood up and pointed at the dishes on the table. “Everything was made exactly to your requirements.”

Wiping her hair as she walked over, Crystal White sat down. But when she looked at the dishes on the table, her expression turned strange.

There were several vegetable dishes arranged with exact spacing and identical proportions.

Front and back, left and right, everything was perfectly symmetrical.

Even the green and red peppers scattered over the dishes were matched in number and split evenly to either side.

And the furnishings in the room were arranged with the same rigid precision.

“This is already a sickness,” she said, shaking her head slightly.

She picked up a wineglass, poured herself some wine, and gave it a gentle swirl, only to frown.

“What is it? Don’t you like it?”

Seeing her knit her brows, Forest Autumn asked curiously, though he was inwardly a little tense, thinking she had noticed something.

“No, nothing like that. It’s just that the smell seems a little unusual.”

Crystal White explained briefly, then took a sip of the red wine, whereupon her eyes lit up.

“What kind of red wine is this? Why is it so unusual?”

“Just ordinary red wine. The good stuff, I don’t have, and I can’t afford it either.”

Forest Autumn shrugged.

He was a miser through and through. Asking him to spend money on wine was an international joke. Even this red wine had been taken from the little shop, and the cost was to be charged to Ice Xu’s account.

“Ordinary red wine?”

Crystal White froze, then took another sip. A trace of intoxicated delight surfaced on her face.

“No, this definitely isn’t ordinary red wine. After drinking it, I can feel a strange power growing within my body.”

“It feels like...”

She frowned, trying to find the right words, but could not. After that wondrous sensation spread through her, even the blood in her body seemed to have begun boiling.

Crystal White opened her eyes wide. A blush colored her cheeks, and her gaze grew somewhat hazy.

She picked up a piece of chilled wood ear fungus and ate it. Once again, that strange feeling appeared.

An unusual light flashed in her eyes, and Forest Autumn’s eyes widened as well.

Because there was actually a faint golden glow rising from the woman’s body.

Within that golden light, wisps of murky, impure energy were rapidly dissolving away.

“I feel like I’ve evolved. The baleful aura in my demon bloodline has actually vanished!”

Crystal White’s eyes widened too, her voice trembling with shock.

By now, she carried an extraordinary air. Every frown and smile made her seem like a goddess from the heavens, ethereal and radiant.

Forest Autumn’s heart jolted, and he suddenly had a bad feeling.

“System, what’s going on?”

“Host, what you possess now is the bloodline of a primordial true dragon.”

“Your saliva naturally carries a trace of dragon aura.”

“This woman ate your saliva. Once the dragon aura entered her body, it refined away the baleful energy in her demon bloodline.”

“This can work too?!”

Forest Autumn swallowed hard.

He had never imagined that his saliva could have such an effect.

He had accidentally helped this woman improve her bloodline—had he just lost out big time?

“The host’s saliva carries dragon aura, and that in itself is a kind of heavenly treasure.”

“In the primordial age, the saliva of a true dragon was called dragon spittle, and it possessed countless marvelous uses. You are not a true dragon yet, but you do bear a true dragon bloodline, so your saliva naturally contains a trace of dragon aura.”

“Also, the host’s blood is golden, and it is a supreme tonic.”

“It is the favorite nourishment of all strange beasts and demonfolk.”

“If they discover the host’s special nature, then the host will be hunted by every strange beast and demon in the world.”

The system’s words made Forest Autumn suck in a cold breath.

So he was basically like a piece of monk’s flesh, something anyone would want to take a bite out of.

But was he afraid?

A faint, fierce smile curved at the corner of Forest Autumn’s mouth.

Since obtaining the system, he intended to stand at the peak through endless evolution.

If these strange beasts and demons did not come looking for him, then he would go looking for them.

Suppressing the wild thoughts in his mind, he looked at Crystal White, who had her eyes closed and a look of deep intoxication on her face, and shook his head lightly before turning to leave.

“Wait.”

Crystal White’s voice sounded from behind him.

Forest Autumn turned back and looked at her in curiosity.

“I’m very satisfied with this food and wine. This is for you.”

Crystal White took out her fragrant purse, opened it, pulled out a check, and flicked it toward him.

Forest Autumn reached out and caught the flying check. When he saw the number written on it, he could not help sucking in a sharp breath.

“One hundred thousand?!”

His pupils contracted slightly.

“What, is that too little?”

Crystal White frowned and let out a cold laugh. “A hundred-thousand tip for one meal. Is that not enough?”

“No... no...”
