"Do not test my patience. If you offend me, I wouldn't mind killing you."

Lin Qiu’s voice was frigid, yet a faint smile played at the corners of his mouth. Bai Jingjing’s eyes burned with indignation, but she forced it down. This was not the right occasion; once the concert was over, she would make this man pay. His constant references to her as a "feathered beast" were intolerable.

Sensing the fleeting murderous intent radiating from Bai Jingjing, Lin Qiu chuckled. His crystal cannon had long been thirsty for action. If she dared to strike, he wouldn't mind sending her to meet her ancestors. Lin Qiu’s look of disdain and confidence caused the impulsive Bai Jingjing to sober up instantly. The memory of Wuhua’s pathetic flight the previous night cast a shadow over her heart.

*It seems I must notify the family. This man’s secrets are worth the White family mobilizing in full force.*

A glimmer of wariness flickered in her eyes and vanished.

At nine o'clock, the concert officially began. The massive stadium was packed to capacity, with fans waving glow sticks in rhythmic unison. Bai Jingjing, dressed in a white princess gown, wore a single white feather tucked into her hair. Her face was lightly made up, with crystals embedded at the corners of her eyes that shimmered brilliantly under the stage lights, making her look breathtakingly beautiful.

The elegant melody began, and Bai Jingjing transformed into a white swan, dancing gracefully across the stage.

The Swan Dance!

Her performance was so lifelike that the fans felt they were witnessing a real swan in motion. Screams and cheers erupted, and the entire stadium boiled with excitement. In a corner, Lin Qiu curled his lip. She was a swan to begin with; of course, her swan dance looked authentic.

As the dance concluded, the melody shifted. The guitarist and bassist adjusted their chords, and as the drummer struck a decisive beat, the sound of a heavy downpour echoed throughout the stadium.

Swan in the Rain!

It was Bai Jingjing’s signature song. The melody felt like rain, and Bai Jingjing was the swan within it. She picked up the microphone and began to sing.

"Incredible!" Xu Bing’s expression shifted slightly. Bai Jingjing’s voice carried a hypnotic effect. In her mind, she saw a vast body of water where a flock of swans danced on the surface. As the heavy rain poured down, the swans danced even more joyfully.

"What is this?!" Xu Bing’s face changed again. Amidst the music, wisps of mystical energy were being drawn from her body, converging toward Bai Jingjing on stage.

"This is her cultivation method. She uses melody to stir the spirit of all things and steal the essence and vitality of living beings," Lin Qiu said, his voice cold. He, too, could feel a sliver of his own mental energy being extracted and consumed by Bai Jingjing.

"This is a wicked path!" Xu Bing’s face darkened. She channeled a flash of light through her body, effectively shielding her mental energy.

"Not exactly a wicked path," Lin Qiu said after a moment of sensing, shaking his head slightly. "Music can bring beauty to people. This sliver of mental energy is a byproduct of joy; it causes no harm."

Bai Jingjing sensed it, and indeed, there seemed to be no ill effects.

Below the stage, in the crowd, a monk sat with his eyes slightly closed, his blade-like brows etched with a baleful aura.

"Audacious monster, daring to stir up trouble amidst the masses!" Wuhua’s cold, low voice resonated, though it was drowned out by the thunderous cheers of the crowd.

Aside from Wuhua, there were other non-humans present. Among them, the young man who had attempted to snipe Bai Jingjing watched with a sneer.

"Little Wolf-lord, let me let you die amidst the cheers of your fans. This will be the last concert of your life!"

The young Wolf-lord sneered. Beneath his sleeves, his hands began to change, transforming into furry, sharp claws. A few grey wolf hairs detached and intertwined in the air, forming a mysterious sigil.

"There are more monsters!" Wuhua opened his half-closed eyes, catching sight of the mysterious sigil in the air. He frowned and muttered to himself, "The Great Compassion Mantra of the Primordial Wolf Clan?!"

Wuhua’s expression turned icy as he recognized the mark. He was outraged that a Primordial demon clan would use such a name borrowed from Buddhism. The Great Compassion Mantra, invisible and intangible, vanished into the void.

Still singing, Bai Jingjing felt a cold smirk tug at the depths of her soul. With a spin and a shift in the melody, she opened her eyes wide, and an invisible beam of light shot forth from them.

*Pop!*

A faint shattering sound echoed as the incoming Great Compassion Mantra was pulverized.

"Bai Jingjing, I underestimated you!" The Wolf-lord’s expression darkened as he rapidly formed hand seals. A glimmer of dark energy coalesced in his palms, and a cold smile appeared on his lips. "If you can break the Great Compassion Mantra, then try the Stampede of Ten Thousand Beasts!"

The Wolf-lord’s hands merged into one, vanishing into the void.

The next moment, a roar like a mountain collapsing and the sea surging drowned out the music and the singing. Amidst the panic of the crowd, ten thousand ethereal shadows manifested in the air. They were ten thousand grey wolves, snarling and baring their fangs. The sheer number of wolves shrouded the entire stadium.

"Ah!" Screams of terror rang out. Fans scrambled to leave their seats, wishing they had been born with more legs to run faster. The stadium descended into chaos as the crowd surged toward the exits. Trampling occurred, and cries of agony rose only to be cut short.

The music stopped. The band members, eyes wide with terror, turned and fled. Meanwhile, the ten thousand grey wolves roared, treading on thin air as they charged toward Bai Jingjing.

The Stampede of Ten Thousand Beasts was a secret technique of the Primordial Wolf Clan, grand and imposing. It could not only shatter an opponent's spirit and essence but also tear them to pieces. The Wolf-lord sneered. His form shifted, transforming into a giant white wolf with not a single stray hair, standing three meters tall and powerfully built. Amidst the stampede, he let out a long howl, and the pack responded with a roar that shook the heavens.

The entire stadium was engulfed in a sea of beasts.

"What do we do?!" Xu Bing’s face turned pale with panic. The momentum of the stampede felt invincible. She was only a third-tier cultivator; even with her armor manifestation, she could at best hold her own against a fourth-tier opponent. This was a sixth-tier demon technique, capable of tearing apart anyone of the same level. If she went out there, she would be shredded in an instant.

"Just watch the show," Lin Qiu said nonchalantly. He then pulled out a small mirror, gazing into it with obsession as he muttered, "So beautiful!"

"You..." Xu Bing was so angry she felt like crying. How could Lin Qiu be so vain at a time like this?
