Speak Freely Once It Goes Live
This is my second book to go live on the site, and it is also the first time I have written an author’s note for a release.
My last book has already become an embarrassment I would rather leave buried, so I beg everyone not to read it. It collapsed so badly that even I wanted to curse at myself.
Having learned from the lessons of that book, I have made two changes this time: first, I reduced the number of characters who appear; second, I wrote a multiverse-style story, so that in each world the upper limit of power will not stray too far beyond the protagonist’s reach. At the same time, I strengthened the protagonist’s special advantage, speeding up his growth.
By now, with the experience gained from the last book, I have managed to release this one without it falling apart, thanks to the support of my editor, my friends, and all of you.
I am already at about two hundred words here, so please consider subscribing. After all, even now my collection count is not very high, and every subscription matters to me. It determines whether I can qualify for the full attendance bonus three months from now.
I may not have written this for money, but if I work myself to the bone for a month and still cannot make even a thousand yuan, I will really just be numb to it.
All right, from here on I am going to keep writing to make sure tomorrow’s update is ready. As for the updates after that, I will follow the same calculation as before.
At minimum, there will be two chapters a day. Then every one hundred average subscriptions counts as one chapter owed. If we reach five hundred average subscriptions, that will count as an extra thirty chapters I owe you. Every one hundred yuan in tips counts as one chapter, with the total capped at fifty owed chapters. Taking my own ability into account, the chapters I owe will be repaid within one month if I write quickly, or within two months if I am slow. In any case, I will settle them all within the deadline.
Over the past half month, I have already written nearly one hundred thousand words, so repaying fifty chapters within two months should not be a problem.
Also, let me recommend a friend’s book: Chronicles of the New Multiverse.
That is all.
