Li Rongsheng spoke.

“I require materials,” Yi Shen stated his purpose—fire element materials from the Tianmeng Chamber of Commerce.

Li Rongsheng fell silent.

He had not anticipated such a minor matter.

He promptly indicated the direction. The batch had already been cleared and posed no problems.

If Yi Shen wished to take them, he could simply collect what was needed.

The process proved far simpler than imagined. Yi Shen approached the vehicle and felt the intense fire element within. If decomposed, they could awaken the first forbidden spell template.

“Are those four troubled individuals all from the Tianmeng Chamber of Commerce? Then why not detain their manager for questioning?” Yi Shen, unaware of the full context, asked curiously.

Li Rongsheng shook his head. “Not all of them. After their Chamber of Commerce personnel arrived, they made contact with many guilds. Among the problems uncovered, two belong to Jingmen Safe Zone, and two to the Tianmeng Chamber of Commerce. Further details must await the investigation results.”

Li Rongsheng did not elaborate. Yi Shen refrained from pressing further. He intended to gather the materials first, locate an unoccupied spot to decompose them and study the forbidden spells, but before taking even two steps, a strange aura suddenly welled from the house ahead. Both men turned their gazes toward it.

He accelerated outward. Moments later he spotted a figure completely enveloped in crimson. No memory of this man lingered, yet his attire bore the Tianmeng Chamber of Commerce emblem. His muscles had swollen grotesquely, giving him a Hulk-like silhouette, though the skin was deep red. He charged the sealed defenses, drawing every available firepower. Skills slammed into him without effect.

Fortunately, Zhu Qing’s position remained untouched.

She had followed Wei Shu and the others into hiding. Only when Yi Shen drew near did she finally relax.

The scene plunged into chaos. Yi Shen had heard rumors of deaths within the sealed zone, yet he had not foreseen such devastation. Wei Shu’s face showed clear bewilderment.

The red giant withstood far more firepower than anyone anticipated, and casualties were already mounting.
