A comprehension ten or even a hundred times greater than hers? Sansang lifted the corner of her mouth. It wasn’t vanity; among so many geniuses in the temple, she dared say that her aptitude ranked at least within the top three of the last ten thousand years, or at worst, within the top ten. As for the Heavenly Emperor, the top three was undoubtedly unreachable.

There might be a few slightly stronger by a point or two, but none doubled or tripled her ability, let alone ten or a hundred times. If such an overwhelmingly powerful person truly existed, how could they still be wandering in the Fifth Realm of Time and Space without consolidating their origin?

Could that person be the reincarnation of the Primordial Demon Elder?

Sansang’s heart tightened as she recalled the lingering words of the Primordial Demon Elder in the Divine Tomb: if he encountered his reincarnation, to ask whether the other had found any answers about fate.

At that time, the Primordial Demon Elder was already certain he would meet his reincarnation. His predictive law was at the Third Realm—did that mean he foresaw something?

Moreover, the Elder once hinted, between the lines, that he and this person were of the same race, some kind of inner demon among the extraterritorial celestial demons. Such words might fool naive children, but she had connected with the origin countless times across both the Celestial and Stellar tiers. The feeling of returning home was no illusion; she could never be a stowaway from an alien domain.

Pushing aside her swirling doubts, Sansang decided that if she couldn’t figure it out now, she wouldn’t force it. The boat will find its way when it reaches the bridge. For now, the priority was to examine the breach in this sectional time-space.

This was not a completely sealed time-space.

Perhaps to make Master Aslan despair, the other side had left a crack allowing star force to enter. Sansang only needed to tear through this fissure in the seal, so Master Aslan could sense the origin star core. The two would attract each other naturally, providing a way to erase the power of the past and restore the star core.

Another surge of star force entered the sectional time-space. Sansang’s consciousness seized the opportunity to retreat into Master Aslan’s sea of consciousness and return to herself.

Boya, seeing Sansang’s eyes open, hurriedly asked, “How is it?”

Sansang nodded.

Boya anxiously pressed, “A nod means you confirmed there is time-space power?”

Sansang pondered and replied, “Yes.”

Boya lost her usual grace, gritting her teeth with a hint of ferocity. “I knew it. When Uncle’s letter said the great power he called upon had close ties with the Yuan family, I already suspected Alan’s injury wasn’t simple. My life spirit is best at handling curses, yet even the Mother Tree couldn’t heal Alan. Impossible—it’s not a curse…”

Sansang interrupted Boya’s muttering: “Teacher, do you have any information on the owner of the time-space power inside Master Aslan? I want to learn about that person.”

Boya snapped back to attention. “Not much. I’ll have the network send it to you. That person is an ancestor of the Yuan family, over ten thousand years old. Because he kept a low profile, no one knows his exact cultivation level, only that he has been devoted to consolidating the time-space origin, using other origins to ascend the Profound Realm solely to extend his lifespan.”

She paused, then remembered something else. “He once revealed a research institute that studied time-space traversal, using test subjects to alter small time-spaces and generate time-space power for his cultivation and research. Because the test subjects had a 100% mortality rate, the Galactic Court banned it. I don’t know if the experiment has secretly resumed.”

Sansang asked again, “Can I find out his power attribute fluctuations? Is that possible?”

Boya frowned. “Not easy, but not impossible either. Why do you want this? To help heal Alan’s injury?”

“Master Aslan isn’t injured. His origin star core is sealed within a past time-space sectional,” Sansang paused to let Boya digest this, then added, “I suspect the time-space power inside him comes from the reincarnation of the Primordial Demon Elder. But Yuan Guang only triggered it with a magical artifact, causing some chaotic aura—hard to conclude. I need to confirm.”

“Primordial Demon Elder,” Boya mused, frowning. “If it’s just data on attribute fluctuations, I can ask Uncle for help. I should get it for you and send it over. I’m sending Alan back before he wakes. I hope you reach the peak of the Fifth Realm of Time and Space soon, so you can help lift his seal.”

“Wait.” Sansang raised a hand to stop her. “There’s no one overseeing this time-space power. I can lift the seal now. Just prepare a safe and quiet place for Master.”

“You said what just now?” Boya froze, concerned, thinking she must have misheard.

Sansang smiled. “I said…”

“Wait.” Boya cut her off, fearful it was just a joke. Without hesitation: “I heard clearly. You want a safe, quiet place to unseal Alan. I’ll arrange it right away. Soon.”

Without waiting for Sansang’s reply, she disappeared as if her hair was on fire.

Sansang shook her head, then summoned the Heavenly Emperor through their soul pact.

The Heavenly Emperor thought something urgent had happened and hurried over. Hearing it was about lifting Master Aslan’s seal, he didn’t say if it was good or not, only asked, “Last time I saw his problem and wanted to solve it, didn’t Little Jin say to wait until we reached the Profound Realm before acting?”

“Times have changed,” Sansang replied. “Back then, we lacked confidence and feared offending the Divine Court’s experts. Now, though still cautious, frequent troubles don’t bother us anymore. News of resurrecting the Dusk Goddess can’t be hidden, nor can the fact that the Fourth Realm of Time and Space rivals others’ Fifth Realm. Master Aslan’s recovery means one more ally for us.”

The Heavenly Emperor brushed his hair back carelessly. “Alright, you’re in charge. After this, I’ll start refining my dharma form. My energy reserves are ample; I’ll aim to break through to the Void tier this year. My hair’s grown long—give me a trim.”

Sansang gathered star force at her index finger and swiftly gave him a neat, short haircut in two or three strokes. The trimmed hair did not fall to the ground but spontaneously combusted without flames, turning into blue smoke and vanishing.

“Back to Red Leaf Star City for seclusion. It’s safer in Grandpa Anthony’s star territory. I plan to break through directly with faith power to save time. If the foundation isn’t solid, I’ll share your method for support.”

“As you command, Your Majesty.” The Heavenly Emperor grinned, running his hand over his head.

Boya arranged a secure quiet chamber and moved Master Aslan inside. During this, as Aslan was about to wake, she struck him unconscious again, calling it a surprise.

Destroying is always easier than building. Sansang alone could tear apart an ungoverned sectional time-space. She called the Heavenly Emperor not to help tear it, but to intercept the power of the past to prevent it from returning to its owner.

Wrapping the Heavenly Emperor’s consciousness in her star force, Sansang slipped into the sectional time-space with him.

“First, I’ll draw the barrier formed by the past’s power into synchronization. Then you start the destruction.”

“Understood.” The Heavenly Emperor whistled at the mountain in the center. Once Sansang released control, he shot out like a caged eagle, tormenting himself against extreme gravity.

Sansang activated her innate ability, simulating the fluctuations of the time-space barrier with star force, extending like vines to silently envelop every corner of the sealed barrier. The fluctuations of the past power began to subtly change.

Though both governed by time-space laws, Sansang’s law fluctuations leaned toward protection, while the Heavenly Emperor’s leaned toward destruction.
