Update Notice-What to Do If You Look Too Intimidating(A new village emerges as dawn breaks.)

Compared to other books released around the same time, my update speed is truly remarkable. Although everyone jokes that I’m the “one update a day in the village,” and that my chapters are short… (Nonsense! All nonsense!)

In fact, without realizing it, I often write ten thousand words a day, and at the very least, six thousand. Looking back, I suddenly noticed that books which started more than ten days before mine now have fewer words by ten or twenty thousand.

Considering it will probably be another month before the book goes online, I’ve decided that from today onward, I’ll begin updating twice daily. To compensate everyone, after the book launches, I’ll maintain a minimum of four chapters per day for an entire month. Moreover, I’ll repay all the owed chapters for your generous rewards: ten chapters for every Alliance Leader, one chapter for every ten thousand reward coins—right now, I already owe over twenty extra chapters. Additional conditions for extra updates will be set before the launch.

Extra updates will be repaid in the same month they’re earned. If I don’t manage to finish, I’ll wear women’s clothing—my word is my bond. (Of course, that’s impossible, so rest assured I’ll complete all the updates.)

Naturally, these extra updates will start after the book launches. During the new book period, there will be two updates each day—one just after midnight (for your precious votes), and another at noon.

I hope you’ll spare some pity for this humble author. After eighteen thousand words, my first trial recommendation lasted only two days. Alas, no recommendation votes or favorites to comfort my wounded heart—I feel as if I’m dying…

On a serious note, I am deeply grateful for all your support. Back when it took a hundred thousand words just to sign a contract, I would never have made it without you all. Now that the book is doing better and better, the only thing I can do in return is work hard to write better chapters and deliver a richer story for everyone. Two updates a day is certainly not laziness; partly it’s to build up draft chapters for launch, but I also need more time to polish the plot. When I started this book, I just slapped together a thousand-word outline and plunged right in. Now there are many holes to fill.

Every comment and every chapter review, whether praise or criticism, I’ve read them all without missing a single one. I’ve revised the details of the first chapter more than a dozen times based on your suggestions. If there’s something to correct, I correct it; if not, I strive to do better. My skills are limited, my talent modest, and as a newcomer, I am immensely grateful—and a bit overwhelmed—to have so many supporters. Recently, I’ve been suffering from insomnia; unable to sleep, I study how the masters write and ask elders how to adjust my mindset. Writing is truly not easy; my draft stock has dwindled rather than grown, and my state has slipped a bit. But I will adjust quickly, work hard to improve, and strive to make each day better than the last.
